Spirit also another chair that originally designed by renowned designer Tanju Ozelgin for a specific high end restaurant project. After that project, receiving so many inquiries made B&T add this chair to standard catalog. Spirit is a chair that requires production precision, where craftsmanship is the front-line. It is a great example of the combination of wood and fabric. For the wood part, solid beech is used by standard unless different wood specified. It has very unique manufacturing method especially on the edges where wood frame and upholstered upholstered part meets. Upholstered backrest and seat parts interted into channel opened on the wood frame. This techique ensures perfect seamless upholstery work. It maybe used  in high concept restaurant and cafes. Around any dining tables in modern but warmly designed dining rooms. Or in design orianted office breal rooms. There are with or without arm versions available. Wood part can be designed in desired color wood stain.

Material: Hardwood frame. Commercial grade PU foam. Spirit chair has very unique manufacturing technique in which B&T shows its high end manufacturing skills: Wood frame has an opening from top to bottom with a steel insert for extra strength. Upholstered part inserted in this opening. This structure provides seamless, clean look to this chair.

Tanju Ozelgin 

Born in 1962, in Istanbul, Tanju Özelgin graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts Industrial Design Department of the Marmara University in 1984. In 1987, Tanju Özelgin founded Scala Design, and 1987 he designed and implemented projects for fair stands, yachts, showrooms, homes, offices, publicity campaigns, furniture and industrial products. 

Between 1993-1995, he worked with IN Mobilya (IN Furniture), of which he was a founding partner and cofounded Parlak Kırmızı (Bright Red) in 1996 with Ertan Binme, where they concentrated on interior design projects and applications, designs and development of industrial products, preparation of digital and video graphics. Since 2005, he continues his work at TO Design Studio, which focuses on interior design and industrial product design. Özelgin also continues to work as faculty member and project counselor since 1998. 

He is a jury member, exhibition participant and workshop manager in many competitions.
